ChromaTap collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no network requests. Everything you do stays on your device.
Your progress and preferences are saved locally and never leave the device:
This data is removed when you uninstall the app. Settings → Reset progress clears the scores, badges and stats at any time.
No name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, health data, or advertising identifier (IDFA / Android Advertising ID). No usage or analytics data. ChromaTap does not track you across other apps or websites, does not build a profile, and has nothing to sell or share with advertisers or data brokers.
The app works entirely offline.
The Share button on the game-over screen opens your device's own share sheet with a short text summary of your run. Nothing is sent anywhere until you pick a destination, and the summary deliberately never reveals which tile was the odd one, so posting a daily result cannot spoil it for anyone else.
ChromaTap is suitable for all ages. It contains no ads, no purchases, no chat and no user-generated content, and it collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
This page sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party fonts or scripts. Your visit is not logged beyond whatever your host records by default.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the current version is always at this address.
